Jason Witte
b. Marshalltown, Ia.

I am a Midwestern native, growing up in small town central Iowa. Ever since I canremember, I liked to draw. During high school, my art teacher fostered, challenged, and encouraged my artistic growth. I liked being known as creative, and knew at that age I wanted art to be part of my everyday life. A few years after graduating college, I left the cornfields of Iowa and headed tothe great northwest city of Seattle, Washington. In Seattle I was active in an artist run gallery and showing my work in local cafes. I met my wife in Seattle, and now we live in Baltimore, Md.I have studied under artists Georgetta Gancarz, Gary Faign, Lu Bro, Marc Boone, Terry Furgott ,and Deborah Pappenheimer to name a few.

My work is found in private collections throughout the country. I currently show regularly at Artist Underground and Antresian Gallery located in Baltimore.
